Help: Setting the correct screen resolution

myDiary can be viewed best with a screen resolution of at least 1024x768 pixels.

Lower resolutions will result in a horizontal scroll bar being shown. This will probably not be desirable when reading a story. Unless your computer and monitor are at least 5 years old you can probably use the recommended resolution.

To change your screen resulotion you first have close of minimise your open windows.
Then click on an empty part of your desktop (the background), using your right mouse button. In the now shown menu click 'properties'.
A window appears with several tabs.
Choose the 'settings' tab (see top of the window).
In this tab a slider with the text 'Screen resolution' is shown. When the slider is moved to the right the screen resolution is increased.
A resolution of at least 1024x768 allows you to view myDiary completely in one window. Ofcourse a higher resolution is also possible.
Now press 'OK'.
The screen resolution is now being adjusted and a question is asked if you want to keep the settings as you entered them. Press 'Yes' if you are satisfied with the result.
This finalizes the screen resolution adjustments and you can now view myDiary without having to scroll horizontally.

If your computer is unable to display the recommended resolution; you might want to visit the Pocket Pc version (http://www.mydiary.nl/pocketpc/).
